Audi Q8 2023 revealed with New Styling & Interior

The new Q8 takes on Porsche and Land Rover's recently updated flagships

Audi has unveiled the new Q8 SUV, which features a range of design and tech upgrades that enhance both its style and performance. The German automaker's flagship SUV boasts a more aggressive and sporty appearance, with revised bumpers, larger air intakes, and a restyled grille. The slim LED headlights and brake lights, as well as the dynamic indicators, have also received an upgrade to align it with the latest Audi designs.

Inside, the Q8's cabin now features a new head-up display that provides more comprehensive driving information with sharper resolution. The MMI Navigation Plus system now has more intuitive software, allowing for quicker destination input. Meanwhile, the Q8's standard semi-autonomous driving aids have been enhanced, with features such as adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning now available. The infotainment system has been updated to support third-party apps, such as Spotify and Amazon Music, although I imagine most drivers would prefer Apple's CarPlay or Google's Android Auto as those systems feature the most apps, including WhatsApp and Audible.

The upgraded Audi Q8 will be offered with three powertrain options. The entry-level variant will feature a mild-hybrid diesel engine producing 227 kW (306 hp), while the top-of-the-line RS Q8 will have a V8 petrol engine that delivers a substantial 441 kW (592 hp). Customers can also choose the V6 petrol engine with a power output of 250 kW (335 hp).

The Q8's chassis has also been updated with a more responsive adaptive air suspension system that adjusts to different driving conditions in real-time. Audi has also added a new electromechanical active roll stabilization system that enhances the Q8's handling, even at high speeds. The Audi Q8 has remained a top seller in the SUV market since its debut in 2018 and the 2023 model looks set to continue this trend with its impressive upgrades.

Overall, the Audi Q8's latest upgrades make it a competitive option in the luxury SUV market, competing with the likes of the Porsche Cayenne (though Porsche and Audi are part of the same group), the Range Rover Sport and BMW's X5 range. If you're a luxury SUV enthusiast in search of a new ride, the Audi Q8 is defiantly worth considering, though Audi will ask you to hand over at least seventy five grand.
